About Me

Hello, I’m Arina Bacigalupo. Born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, I spent my childhood in St. Petersburg, Russia; Lithuania; Germany; and Canada. These global experiences not only shaped my identity but also sparked my love for the arts and human expression. For the past 12 years, I’ve called New York City home, where I’ve immersed myself in the vibrant arts and entertainment scene. My academic journey began with a focus on graphic design at Pratt Institute, followed by a scholarship to study Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts (SVA). However, I've made a bold decision to do acting full-time, and pursue my journey as a painter on my own.

Growing up, I was always surrounded by art. I began ballet training at a young age at the prestigious Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia—the world-renowned school that shaped many of the greatest ballet dancers in history. The discipline and grace of ballet not only instilled in me a love for the stage but also gave me a deep understanding of the power of discipline and storytelling through performance. Even though I’m not a professional dancer now, this early exposure to the arts ignited my passion for acting.

Upon returning to the United States, I signed with a modeling agency and quickly transitioned into acting. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of playing lead roles in multiple films and television shows. I’ve also appeared in high-profile commercials, including campaigns for Doritos, Cadillac, Taco Bell, and Skinfix, which was featured in Sephora's nationwide. Most recently, I had the opportunity to play a featured role on a Netflix show.

While my career in acting has been a thrilling journey, it’s not the only thing that defines me. My  faith, my love for my husband, and my art are the foundation of who I am. I believe that the work I do on screen is deeply intertwined with my personal life and values, and my goal is always to bring authenticity, depth, and emotion to everything that I do.
